PromISSe is the latest ESA mission to the ISS. I'm trying to compile the definitive list of ESA ISS missions including OasISS, Eneide, Marco Polo, etc.Does STS-100 count with Guidoni? It is listed on the ESA website but does not have an individual patch/logo. Does STS-111 count with Perrin? it is not listed on the ESA human spaceflight site. Was Perrin representing CNES only? Does Labospace/DAMA count with Vittori? Was he representing ASI only? |

I'm pretty sure Perrin didn't become an ESA astronaut until after STS-111. |

Perrin represented CNES, and became an ESA astronaut only briefly later.Vittori is an ESA astronaut, but the seat was an ASI flight opportunity, so the mission was named by ASI (so yes, he was an ESA astronaut on the ISS, but he did some work/experiments sponsored by ASI). Guidoni was an ESA astronaut for STS-100, but this was before there was a consistent naming policy for individual ESA missions. Very often, these cases have to be looked at one by one, since the involvement of different agencies can vary - it's not as simple as first proposed! The downloadable mission patch listed here might help. Good luck! | |
