Soyuz MS-06: viewing, questions, comments

This thread is intended for comments and questions about the Soyuz MS-06 mission.

Soyuz MS-06 will launch three new crewmembers to the International Space Station: Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin and NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba.

Soyuz MS-06 is the 135th flight of a Soyuz spacecraft since 1967.

After docking their Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft to the Poisk module on the Russian segment of the International Space Station, Expedition 53-54 Soyuz commander Alexander Misurkin of Roscosmos and flight engineers Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba of NASA were greeted by station commander Randy Bresnik of NASA and flight engineers Sergey Ryazanskiy of Roscosmos and Paolo Nespoli of the European Space Agency, as the hatches between the spacecraft were opened.

Johnson Space Center photo release
After 168 days in space and a landing halfway around the world, NASA Astronauts Joe Acaba and Mark Vande Hei returned to Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas, to see family, friends, and colleagues for the first time and participate in research and rehabilitation.
