In this video, you can see the first encounter between NASA administrator Charles Bolden and Roscosmos president Anatoly Perninov, with Bolden's former STS-60 crewmate Sergei Krikalev also present. They meet on Cosmonaut Alley in Baikonur, where trees planted by cosmonauts and astronauts.
One learns that Valentina Tereshkova's tree is the tallest "because she watered it a lot". It is also mentioned that she is now a member of parliament.

While I'm sure there's a bit of "photo op" happiness here, its good to see that Charlie Bolden and Anatoly Perminov get along well. The two greatest spacefaring nations on the planet will need to see eye to eye to accomplish big things someday.
