Are there any videos available on the web from the Lunokhod moon rovers? It would be fascinating to watch the rovers move through the lunar environment, similar to the thrill of watching the recent rovers on Mars. While I understand that the quality would be much lower, I would still like to see those videos. Any leads?

I would ask Ivan Sarafanov.

He takes requests, and sometimes gets them on the next update.

Are there any pictures online of the second Lunokhod which landed near the Apollo 17 site? I've looked but couldn't find any.

Try this link. You can also go to pictures of Lunokhod 1.

Roscosmos and the Russian Academy of Sciences has released their archive of Lunokhod 2 panoramas on the Laboratory for Comparative Planetology website.
