Great, do you have the non-smiling version as well?

Not with Sokol-suits, but in colorful blue flight suits.

Did he take a shower before photographed. They could have made a better photo.

He's just getting into his Mr.T character. "I Pity the Fool who doesn't fly in space!"

It's probably a way of getting some extra flown (jewelry) items

I conducted an extensive interview with Richard before he flew (the product of which will be on the site after docking tomorrow morning), during which we spoke about his jewelry. You'll need to read the article for the significance behind his insistence, but here's a brief excerpt:
I do wear a lot of jewelry, and have some other unusual things like little locks of hair and at GCTC [Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center], at first with some level of seriousness and then continuing as a joke, I was constantly teased about how they were either going to cut off my locks of hair or force me to take off my jewelry. But I've already fought that battle and told them it's coming with me whether they like it or not. I think they are resigned to the fact that it's going with me.

There are now official (Sokol) and informal individual and crew portraits of the TMA-13 crew available at the HSF site.

Jurgen-

Nice group of photos. I don't follow the Russians as much as I should, but it's good to match a face with a name.

According to whole crew portraits set in Sokol there are only 2 missing ones: e.g. Lonchakov-Fincke and Magnus as brunette
