Photo STS-41B-22-892 has this caption:
View of payload bay, earth limb and partial view of astronauts Bruce McCandless and Robert Stewart as they stow extravehicular activity (EVA) equipment taken by the fixed camera attached to the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) on the port side of the payload bay.
McCandless is on the port side facing the camera. Stewart is on the starboard side with his back to the camera.

There were two EVAs and two MMUs on STS-41B: MMU no. 3 was on the port side of the payload bay, and MMU no. 2 was on the starboard side.

McCandless wore both MMUs during the EVAs. I believe Stewart also wore both MMUs during the EVAs.

McCandless was wearing MMU no. 3 when he flew out to around 300 feet from Challenger. Which MMU was Stewart wearing when he did the same? I think it was also MMU no. 3.

Because of the camera, I am guessing. It doesn't look like the other MMU had one.

A further search turned up photo STS-41B-44-2719, which shows MMU number 2 with a camera on the opposite (left) side.
