Expedition 40 commander Steve Swanson and flight engineer Reid Wiseman are scheduled to testify before the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Science, Space and Technology from onboard the International Space Station on Thursday (July 24) at 10 a.m. CDT (1500 GMT).

ISS Astronauts Appear in the House
Aboard the International Space Station, NASA's Steve Swanson and Reid Wiseman made a special appearance from space before the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space and Technology on July 24.
During the satellite downlink, Swanson and Wiseman talked about research on the station and how it applies to future long-duration missions away from the Earth as well as the benefits for people back on Earth.
