So I'm watching this morning's EVA and as I see the glove checklist through the helmet camera I'm thinking "Guess they could never get away with the Apollo 12 checklist gag now a days."

Heh heh heh, THOSE were the days. If Hoot Gibson were still a NASA astronaut though, I imagine he would have found a way to pull something like that (being the king of "Planet AD" according to Mike Mullane's book).

Ah! Yes! The Apollo 12 checklist. Now this is triva- who was the girl in the Apollo 12 checklist? I'll wait about a week before posting the answer.

The true space geek response -

"Whose checklist? Al's or Pete's?"

Spoiler Alert: I found the answer here - about a quarter of the way down at 133:15:36. And, of course, the checklist prank is visible in this photo (barely).

Not quite a prank but still a neat use of the wrist checklist...
