I think Clay Anderson has been up there a little too long as the musical selection played from the ISS (KISS radio) on Wednesday morning was "Whip It" by DEVO. Clay dedicated it to Peggy Whitson with "her whip" and Pam "Pambo" Melroy with "her lightsaber." I also loved Peggy's response: "Houston, can I trade in my flight engineer?" Man that had me ROFLMAO. I only wish I could have videotaped it as I can only see it on my PC. |

Tariq Malik with SPACE.com filed a blog on this, too: Orbital Shout Out for Female Space Commanders quote: With two female spacecraft commanders set to meet Thursday in Earth orbit for the first time in history, one NASA astronaut sent out a cosmic dedication to commemorate the event.
Speaking of Clay being perhaps overdue to come home, he later in the day began quizzing flight controllers with riddles such as, "What lies at the bottom of the ocean and twitches?" and "What is the difference between roast beef and pea soup?" (google for the answers, if you must). |

Gee, at one point I thought you were referring to the rock band! Chris. |

A couple times I have wondered if station KISS from the ISS has played a tune from the rockband KISS (Ace Frehley's "Rocket Ride" comes to mind). |

Tani is now a member of ISS Expedition 16. As Clay said a few moments ago "He is already a month behind in his rent..." Cute. |
