Hi goodmorning, Can anyone help me out please. When the shuttle crew walks out to the van to go the the pad.. I see about two to three other guys walking out with them. Who are those guys and why are they doing that. Thanks for helping

Actually, there are several people that walk out with the crew. Those people tend to include:
Chief Astronaut
Chief of the Vehicle Integration Test Office
Director of Flight Crew Operations
A suit technician member of the close-out crew
A support astronaut
Program managers
