With regards to the cracked foam, I wish NASA would not allow the 24-hour news channels to exaggerate the significance - if any - of this issue.
They could easily have issued a statement via their many PR people at KSC. Instead, for much of the day we had to endure ill-informed, doom-laden and subjective rubbish from Sky News, here in the UK, CNN International and silly Fox News that Discovery could be in jeopardy.
Next time NASA, get your spokespeople out to counter such nonsense.
