Nasa decided today to change Discovery`s external tank und the two solid rocket boosters to that ET-SRB-combination , orinally planned to fly on STS-121 , with the goal to go faster thru the necessary safety modifications:

So will the current boosters and tank on Discovery (STS-114) be used on 121?

No, the current 114 tank has no future at the moment. It will likely depend on whether they can install heaters in it or not.

Yesterdays status report says STS-121 will use an external tank still being finished in Michoud (ET-119).
