Author Topic:   Shuttle EVA Suit Visor thump Member Posts: 575 From: washington dc usa Registered: May 2004 posted 02-07-2005 12:28 PM                Anyone have any idea what the visor is currently made of or "coated" with? I volunteer with the NASM and bring out a mock up of the suit, and ours has 14 K gold plating, but looking at current pictures the plating looks to be of a different material/metal, anyone know for certain so I can relay the info to other volunteers and the visiting public?
