Rummaging through some old press cuttings I found a couple of items that made me wonder where they are now.

First relates to Apollo 11. In October 1969 whilst the crew were in London, a Michael Beasley, aged 17, together with 15 other children was invited to lunch with the crew at 10 Downing Street. Did this spark a lifelong interest in space and are any of them cS participants?

Also in October 1969, Jim Lovell was at Tilbury Docks in Essex to view the U.S. Lines ship named 'American Astronaut' that had been launched by his wife the previous April. During this visit Lovell signed a number of £1 notes. Where are they now and does a cS member have one?

All times are CT (US)
