Coca-Cola returns soda to outer space in Olympics ad

A new Olympics-themed Coca-Cola commercial features the International Space Station while recycling the soft drink company's own history in space.

The minute-long TV ad, which shows a U.S. astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut aboard the orbiting outpost watching their two nations going head-to-head in an Olympic hockey match on Earth, includes the return of the special can that Coca-Cola designed for a 1985 space shuttle mission.

(I'm fairly certain that the ISS set is the same used by The Big Bang Theory.)

Any opportunities for reproductions hitting the market again?

The only reproduction (of which I am aware) that Coca-Cola marketed to the public was a plastic version sold through Space Camp. It would be great if that could be offered again, though I know of no plans to do so.

Otherwise, the other high-fidelity replicas were limited desktop displays distributed to museums and Coca-Cola bottlers. They were never really intended to be sold.
