Stumbled across this whilst doing some research -
Adrian Leaman was a British astronaut who briefly served with NASA during the late 60's and early 70's and who eventually made it to the moon in 1971 in one of the infamous Apollo missions launched from Cape Canaveral...
And here was me thinking it was Bedford and Cavor!

Just goes to show you should ALWAYS be skeptical of anyone who argues a point with the backing of, "I saw it on the internet."

Well, if John Llewellyn, born in Wales and a member of the 'excess eleven' NASA astronaut group, had passed his flight training he could have gone up sometime in the 80s aboard the shuttle.

The maker of that bare-bones website MUST be trying to pull our leg - this page goes so far as to identify Leaman as the subject of the Apollo 11 "visor shot."

All times are CT (US)
