The only flying space car that's taken anyone to another world (explained using only the ten hundred words people use most often).

This end should point toward the ground if you want to go to space.

If it starts pointing toward space you are having a bad problem and you will not go to space today.

Here is a very funny NPR blog which explains "Very Simply" how the Saturn V Rocket works. I especially liked the "This part falls off first."
