My family and I are very pleased to announce the arrival of Jack Timothy, my second grandson.

He weighed in at 6lb 15oz and is 19.5" tall. He also decided to arrive a couple of weeks early.

Probably wanted to make sure his eyes are focused enough to watch Atlantis launch.

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes. My daughter and grandson are doing well. You all know me too well expecting I would create some artistic tribute for the occasion. So here it is. The new and improved KSCartist Logo for 2011.

The very first launch I ever witnessed was Apollo 17 when I was 16. That is the vehicle rising into the sky. The Moon is prominently displayed as the target for Apollo and hopefully both Tyler and Jack will witness our return to the Moon. The ISS, our brightest star travels across the sky - representing the artwork Jorge and I have been fortunate enough to create for the station and shuttle crews. The stars are for my grandsons. As many of you will recognize, the point of view is from Titusville, my home.

I want to thank Jorge for helping me update the logo. I couldn't have done it without him.

CONGRATULATIONS Tim!!! You look so proud! Did you design a patch for him? They have a wonderful Grandfather. You look way too young to have grandchildren!! My Grandparents looked old.

LOL Very nice patch Jorge, thank you from the "whole crew".

Although I suspect by the time we fly, Tyler would be the CDR and I would be the "geriatric medical experiment.."
