This picture is from a couple of years ago, but I just stumbled upon it:The person with Aleksei Leonov is Robert Lepage, a fan of astronautical history and a cinematographer and playwright. Anyone has any idea what artefact Leonov is showing to him? This picture was taken after the 2007 Moscow premiere of the play "The Far Side of the Moon", with Leonov in attendance. The play, since made into a movie, has a space historian as the main character, and uses the Moon race as a metaphorical backdrop to explore issues of reconciliation and self-identity with world-renowned finesse. The Race's chronology, Tsiolkovsky, Leonov, Apollo and related considerations are all well researched and cleverly applied in the writing of this play/film. I urge each collector, historian and "space nut" in these forums to view this, especially those of us with any interest in litterature. ------------------ Francois Guay Collector of litterature, notebooks, equipment and memories! |
