Why hasn't this topic been brought up before...

I enjoy drinking my coffee (and Earl Grey tea) out of my aerospace and aviation coffee cups. I buy them at museum gift shops that I visit. It reminds my friends that I am a space enthusiast (or is that space nut).

Cups that I use regularly...

  • Wright Flyer (NASM)
  • Shuttle Launch Experience (KSC)
  • Space Flight (Wallops Island)
  • NASA (Goddard SFC)
  • Shuttle Columbia (NASM)
  • Misson to Mars (JSC-a gift)
  • Rhinebeck NY Aeordrome (my favorite)
Any other coffee cup fans and/or stories out there?

Garry

I have about 20 mugs on my wall. You can see a number of them right above my and Oscar Holderers heads.

I also have about 20 - 30 drinking glasses and steins and you can see some of them in the photo as well. One whole section of the collection deals with newspaper headlines printed on the glasses or mugs.

I have a couple of mugs which came from two legends in Mission Control.

Naturally, I would not want to use them other than for display purposes. They give me much pleasure and remind me of the times I met two of the nicest guys around.

I have one from Star City, and one from NASM in Washington. And I even use them for tea or coffee drinking purposes
