NASA's Johnson Space Center closed at 12 p.m. CDT Monday and will remain closed through Tuesday because of the threat of tropical storm Edouard. Plans call for the center to reopen Wednesday. While collectSPACE is based just outside JSC property, our web servers are located far inland, outside of Houston, and thus we do not anticipate any outages as a result of the storm. |

More importantly, have you got the cS HQ boarded up and fully stocked with beer, salty snacks, and the entire Spacecraft Films series to get you through the storm? |

Frosty beverages? Check. Tasty snacks. Check. Electricity by which to power the HDTV (or more importantly, the cable modem and laptop)? Check (at least for now). |
