In addition to space related items, I'm also a baseball card addict, with a collection totaling almost 150,000 cards, including many graded sets on the PSA registry. My focus is on the 1930's through the mid 1970's.

In addition I also have a few space themed card sets. Specifically I've got both graded and ungraded 1963 Topps Astronauts and the 1969 Topps Man on the Moon series. I've also got ungraded versions of the 1957 and 1958 Space Cards and Target: Moon sets.

Anyone else here collect these items?

While I'm sure I don't have complete sets, I have both the Topps 1963 and 1969 cards you mentioned.

I do have a complete set of all the Space Shots cards.

This time I'm not going to attach them to my bike spokes for that "cool motorcycle sound" like I did as a kid.

Ooooo, I bet SPACE cards would make the COOLEST noises in a bike wheel!!!! Or is that Kewlist?

Sure, I bet MOST space peeps have some of these in their collections... the 1969 Man on the Moon cards, with those HUGE pictures formed on the back when you have complete sets! GENIUS!

I liked those LONG Project Mercury cards... guess they are called arcade cards? I don't remember them when they came out, but I picked up several in a lot at a house auction several/many years ago...

I have the "boxed" sets you can get on eBay... not nearly as fun buying a package or two at a time, but then those packages ain't a nickel anymore, either!

Cheers!

I do collect space cards. I have the complete 1969 set of the Canadian (99 cards like the US with the puzzles on the back) and British (75 cards) Man on the Moon series. I have also the complete SpaceShots series of 330 cards plus the Moon-Mars series of 36 cards and the proof set of 5. I also have the promo set of 9 and the astronaut endorsed series of 110 and the hologram card.

In addition to that, I have (so far) 88 autographed SpaceShots cards from 63 different astronauts (9 Moonwalkers), flight controllers and ground personnals and I have a few signed Man on the Moon cards.

Finally, I have the rare (I think) binder of the NASA manned missions 40th anniversary consisting of a 96 cards series.
