I have to say that after tonight's little adventure with my daughter, I'm thankful that I had Google Earth loaded on my computer.

She drove down to Dallas early on this evening for her spring break and had the misfortune of getting herself lost. She tried to get help from family down there, but that didn't work out so well.

She was near tears and scared when she called me tonight. Once I calmed her down a bit, I used Google Earth and her location description to pinpoint where she was. I was then able to guide her safely to where she needed to be.

I am so thankful for this program. It was a major life saver tonight..

That's a great story HouseDad ...
Never thought about using Google Earth in that way, anyway the photos for Europe are to low resolution so I'll have to stick to mappy.be which gives drawings of the roads... ;-)
