Did any of you all see the article entitled "Psst - Wanna buy a slightly used Soviet space suit?" in Wired magazine? It was a very interesting article and it had quite a few quotes from our very own Robert Pearlman!

You know, I knew that article was coming, and I have that issue of Wired at home, but I hadn't made the connection that the article was in it. Thanks for the reminder. And congrats, Robert!

The story Chris Stewart tells of going to Moscow and the tale of 'RS' certainly makes one look at the Russian memorabilia on eBay in a different light.

He wrote all nonsenses, which I told him by phone. I haven't a good laugh long time ago. Christopher S. Stewart turn out to be unreliable journalist, who printout every information without checking.

That's true artefacts market exists, but article is huge rubbish.

98% informations are invention. If I told I had been on Mars, he would written about this in article.

Chris with his interpreter were in Moscow. There GSH-6 helmet was shown him as a space helmet. And gloves from Stritz and Vorkut were presented him as a space gloves. Chris even checked it. Broda (Beard), who he is talking about like his contact in Izmailovo, makes fun like this of naive Americans. But not only he. Everybody on Old Arbat show GSH-6, when you ask about space helmet.

Summary. Joke is success. Americans printout all nonsenses without check. Everybody, who makes deal with me, knows about it.

Only Chris called me. I told him fictitious stories. Nobody confirmed my little stories.

Anybody didn't want to talk to Chris in Moscow, except alcoholic Brody, who showed him only aircraft stuff.

Nobody checked my credibility or authenticity Moscow helmets and gloves.

He didn't mention about ejected American spy from Moscow and about collectors from USA and Canada, did he? Why?

He fabricated prices and facts. He distorted many details for circulation of your magazine.

If he made a money offer, I would show him real word of space collectors.

It's true -- Second hand of space suit market exist. They steal from Star City -- nonsense.

They sell by 60000USD -- big cosmic nonsense, like Chris' article.

Is this true, Mercedes S500 are given for free on Red Square in Moscow. Yeah... but it's not Mercedes but bicycles and they don't give it for free but steal.

That aside, if what you said in the article was all lies, how do you go about getting the suits you offer on your website? I'm sure many here would like to know the truth.

In the interest of fairness, on Monday I'll call Wired's fact checking department and ask why they didn't call you...

Hi, I'm Bobo.

I don't deny that there are spacesuits on my website. I want to say only, that this story is full of nonsense, which was written to better selling of Wired magazine. Joke from the top of this letter describes correct this situation.

Four people were present during our phone conference -- Bobo (me), Russian translator, Chris and mysterious woman. It won't be any problem to settle facts and this, there was carry conversation with me.

I repeat, author distorted unreal story and added many incredible facts. Chris incorrect set about problem. He wrote article without checked of facts.

Everybody who is engaged in Russian cosmonautic. What rockets engine? What Star City? Where did he find this prices?

That's a serious accusation, Bobo. Can I ask you to be more specific? What exactly was made up (and by whom - you, who admit to lying during your interview, or by the magazine)?

The article wasn't without a typo or two (they cited the visitor count on collectSPACE as per week rather than per month) but they did have a fact checker call several times and Wired is a respected magazine which certainly didn't need this story to sell copies. Its only three pages in a 144 page publication that has been publishing for 13 years.

I have brokered spacesuits and complete Soyuz spacecraft as well, so I am not a complete stranger to this market. However, I dealt directly with Energia, Zvezda and the Yuri Gagarin Training Center. If I ask them about you, will they know a Bobo in Poland?

You say Wired told a false story. That's big news. Since you're interested in people knowing what you said to Wired was lies, tell the true story here...
