Does anyone have a copy of this softback book published in June, 2002, with 424 pages? The synopsis on Amazon says that it contains chapters by James Webb; Wernher von Braun; Robert Gilruth; Harrison Schmitt, etc. etc.

This could almost be a synopsis of "Apollo Expeditions to the Moon" (NASA SP-350) published in 1975. Even the front cover picture is the same (the Buzz Aldrin visor shot.)

Is "Before This Decade is Out" simply a re-print of "Apollo Expeditions..." Can someone who has both books please let me know how similar they are?

Hi,
it is a very different book, it contains interviews and recollections by many participants. I am sure that there might be things said that have been said in "Apollo" but it's a different book.
