Hi David this is Markus from west palm beach,fl i did wen to the Lindbergh Symposium last Friday I met Mr Collins and spoke whit him for about 10 minute before the lunch breack .Russell Schweickart was not ready for is Speeches So they decide to break for lunch and star after lunch whit Russell Schweickart he talk about Delightful deflection after that was Michael Collins is Speech was about :Balancing Act:Technology the planet,Space and oceans. Both Astronauts was amazing just talking to them and listen to their storie their is no word to dicribe that feeling,Mr.Collins told me that he only do lecture every 10 years .I did not ask Michael or Russell to signed because of their rule and i want to respect those two space heroes and i did not see them signed for anybody. The Lindbergh Foundation Failed to attract some people in Fort Myers whit their rude approche,i was suprise how many people went to the symposium about 50 peoples over 65 of age,First The location was Great at the Gulf Coast University but not one of their student was at the Symposium i wonder why!!!!,As Soon as we arrive to register to ask out of respect to our Speaker we ask not to ask for any signature or pose for picture,we enter in to the room they give us a paper whit the same rule,The conference start at 9 whit a welcome and introduction by Margaret Eiluned Morgan who ask us the same think, for me that was find, but at their table they took picture from their guess for me it was a lack of respect for their Speaker and US ,they want Us to go in Fort Myers buy their book follow their rule, for them is was OK to take picture a guess that is was in the spirit of Mr.Lindberg, but for the person who drive many miles it was not OK.They need to understand one thing TAKE A LOOK of the other FOUNDATION like the Apollo 13 Gala they pose whit Whit everybody who want it a picture whit Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, and James Lovell. It would not been possible for me to take picture and put it on Collectspare to share whit space lover.Out of respect is a word that the Lindberg Foundation does not know. i would wish that you think twice before sending any money To the Lindberg Fondation but that only my opinion.

Thats to bad that not many attended.

Considering that it was at a University, you would think the place would have been packed with students.

What a fabulous opportunity to see and listen to a couple of great men.

All times are CT (US)
