Trying to figure out what the following Apollo Test Team Position acronyms mean: MREC, MCCE, and SREC.

Any help appreciated.

Here's what I've learned so far (from the Skylab Countdown Procedures Book)

(note codes applicable to four (4) letter calls only; two (2) and three (3) letter calls have no special code.)

First Letter Codes (Location)

  1. General Areas (KSC/AFETR)
  2. LCC - Other Than Firing Room
  3. LCC Firing Room Consoles
  4. Low Bay Test Cells 1 & 2 (MDAC)
  5. C. I. F.
  6. Spacecraft Propulsion Test Area
  7. USB Station Or Mobile Stations
  8. Houston
  9. O&C Polarity & Integrated Area
  10. CD & SC Building
  11. O&C - Ace Station, Qlds, Comm. Sta., And QC Monitor Room (LM or SWS)
  12. Launcher (Less Umbilical Tower)
  13. O&C - CSM
  14. Low Bay Test Cells 5 & 6 (NR)
  15. Reserved
  16. Pad or PTCR Areas
  17. LM or SWS (Spacecraft and/or Vicinity)
  18. LCC Firing Room Racks
  19. Mobile Service Structure, CSM Or Spacecraft Observers (AM/MDA/OWS)
  20. ATM (All Areas) or Spacecraft RF Facility
  21. Umbilical Tower
  22. High Bay
  23. Crawler Transporter
  24. O&C Building Altitude Chamber
  25. O&C Building (General Areas)
  26. Reserved
Second letter and/or number codes:
  1. S-IC Stage Oriented Positions
  2. S-II Stage Oriented Positions
  3. S-IB Stage Oriented Positions
  4. S-IVB Stage Oriented Positions
    U. I.U. Stage/IBM Oriented Positions
    L. Launch Vehicle Oriented Positions
    S. S/C Oriented Positions
Other letters as required to provide a second letter/number for the call sign. These letters/numbers need not represent any particular code. (The use of the letter "i" should be avoided where possible.)

Third and fourth letter and/or number codes:

The third and fourth letters/numbers have no special handbook codes but are required to complete the four (4) letter/number call sign.
