I am planning an art project that will begin by creating 3D computer models of various engineering development versions of the Apollo lunar module. Can anyone provide scans or links to scale dimensioned 3-view drawings or general arrangement drawings of the early LEM designs? Does Northrop Grumman have a public archive, and are there any cS members with access/connections? Pre-constructed 3D computer models would also be of interest if they are accurate representations.

Examples of the types of drawings that will be useful are this one from the Historic Space Systems website, and these two on the Wikipedia lunar module page.

In particular, the versions of the LEM I would like to start with for the project are what I will call the "Bubble LEM", "Sad Dogface LEM", and the "Round hatch and tanks LEM".

I think there would be no such drawings because those versions never got to that detail.

Yup, got em. I'm working on a space archeology project on the early LEMs. Some of the drawings are detailed, others are more schematic. I've got the 1962 5-foot bubblehead,1963 4-foot square-window dogface, and 1964 triangle window cylindrical tank. I'm putting these together into single-sheet summaries today. None are fully dimensioned but you can work it out from key measurements. Message me with your email.
