Does anyone know if the OBR (optical bar camera) carried in the Apollo Scientific Instrument Module (SIM) bay was identical to the one carried by the SR-71 Blackbird? The manufacturer for both was ITEK.

Apparently the camera was a modified version of a KA-80A camera.

Source of info and a more detailed description (of the Apollo 15 equipment) are in the Apollo 15 Flight Journal webpages, in the Solo orbital operations, Day 1 section. Hope this helps you Jim.
