Those of you on Facebook may want to visit Bobby Ellerbee's "Eyes of a Generation" Facebook page this week. A longtime television professional, Bobby's also a historian of the medium. This week he's given over much of his feed to articles about network coverage of Gemini and Apollo.

Among the highlights are a three part series (contributed by yours truly) about the evolution of live television broadcasts from the recovery ships. This week there's also a series of never-before-seen photographs taken during the Apollo 8 recovery broadcast, showing the "NBC News Space Center" built in 30 Rock's famous Studio 8H. Making things even better are the comments and additions by people from inside the TV industry, who have inside knowledge and stories from those times.

If this kind of thing interests you, look up the "Eyes of a Generation" Facebook page, give it a like, and enjoy. To say it's a feast is putting it mildly!
