moorouge Member Posts: 2458 From: U.K. Registered: Jul 2009	posted 08-13-2009 08:23 AM Whilst rummaging in the dusty recesses of history - can anyone add to the plan of some business men to buy a complete Apollo vehicle, hire astronauts and fly to the Moon to collect rocks to turn into exclusive jewelery?

Proponent Member Posts: 59 From: London Registered: Oct 2008	posted 08-13-2009 10:22 PM I recall reading a long time ago on sci.space.history that the idea was to use the Apollo 15 crew to fly an H-mission back to the Apollo 15 landing site, pick up a few souvenirs and sell them.
