Astronautix has an interesting article about the history of CSM communications. It doesn't list much in the way of frequency information, but it is still quite informative. http://www.astronautix.com/craft/csmtions.htm |

Very granular level of detail on the C3 (Comms piece) can be found in the respective Operations Handbook and Flight Manuals of each spacecraft. In the case of the Apollo Block II's, its found within the TELECOMMUNICATIONS SUBSYSTEMS (Chapter 2) of the AOH. In the case of the Saturn V, which had independant telemetry, destruct telecommunications requirements for each stage, its located in the affiliated chapters of the SATURN V FLIGHT MANUAL of the individual stages and IU. There are separate frequency plans, antenna charactoristics and link diagrams (Spacecraft - ground, ground to ground relay) depicted. If you are unable to find these files online, I have them in PDF format but they are rather large ...------------------ Scott Schneeweis URL http://www.SPACEAHOLIC.com/ |
