The tiny Gemini capsule Lovell shared with Edwin "Buzz'' Aldrin was launched in November 1966 and, after three days in space, plucked from the Atlantic. A little bigger than a Volkswagen Beetle, it has been in storage in Maryland and will be refurbished before being unveiled here, perhaps by September.

I noted in the article that they said it will be going for refurbishment first. Anyone know where it might be going for this i.e. Kansas Cosmosphere or the Smithsonion's own facility?

I talked them into letting me take a crack at it. Hey, I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron...AND I have a Shopvac!

Now, where can I chop out a hole for the subwoofer.....
