Hi All ; Here is a curiosity....I'm a big Formula 1 fan, and one of the guys in the following 3 pictures is Michael Schumacher the 7 time World Champion at an event for Omega watches...who is the Astronaut here....? ...pics are from my personal collection...I didn't attend the event, a friend did.. Anyone ???? Peter

To me it looks like Charles M. Duke, Jr. Look closely at the Apollo 16 flight patch on his jacket. From the many photo I have seen of Mr. Duke, it certainly looks like him. |

Good catch--it's definitely a pre-J-mission suit, as it has the 'diaper' snap on the crotch. My understanding is that those earlier suits wouldn't bend at the waist enough to allow the crewmembers to sit on the rover. |
