I would like to have your opinion on this signature from Alan Shepard, in a book "Moon Shot." Could it be genuine? Seems to me Shepard signed very differently from years to years.

I am skeptical. It could be just a very rushed sloppy signature, but it is atypical. There are much better ones out there.

Looks to me very much like some others I have seen him sign during that book tour.

Does look like a late style signature, it’s such a shame, his early signatures were so nice looking.

Quite possibly authentic, as Shepard signed many copies in this "rushed" way...but is also sadly true there is no way to know. For this reason I never purchased copies of his book signed this way.

Thanks for your replies and informations. In the end I decided not to purchase this book.
