I have an unworn, brand new Omega Speedmaster that I bought for the sole purpose of getting it signed by Michael Collins.

I am interested in selling it at some point and wanted to know if there was a demand. I have tried to reach out to TLIguy on the Omega forum for input but he has disappeared.

The watch is autographed on the inside of the back of the case and also on the velcro band. I have a photograph of him holding the signed objects as well as authenticity documentation from Novaspace.

I appreciate any input given.— Eric

I am not sure that Michael Collins' autograph adds that much that you would see a premium paid for the watch, but it might help your watch stand out from the numerous Speedmaster secondary sales and might help you get full retail (the autograph offsetting the watch being "used").

Robert, thanks for the reply. I am sure it is worth something to the right collector but it is a narrow target for sure. While the watch isn't new per se, it has never been worn or even strapped on to a wrist.

I don't mind holding on to it for a long time if no one wants to buy it.

I did want to hear from others though and put it out there for discussion.

All times are CT (US)
