NASA technician back patch. Opinions please?
Based on the images I uploaded (these photos are not included with this listing - they are displayed for information only), these patches date to as early as 1966 and were worn by technicians at the North American Aviation facility in Downey, CA.

The first two photos show technicians around the Apollo 1 crew wearing the patch on August 24, 1966. The third photo shows Apollo astronauts actually wearing the NAA coveralls with these patches (both the back patch and a smaller 3-4" version of it) on December 12, 1966. In the fore-view of that photo are John Young and Rusty Schweickart. That's likely also Buzz Aldrin who is pictured from behind.
