Looking for opinions on this signed Apollo 11 FDC. I don't have any info on the provenance. The signatures look quite good to me. But I am not sure. Many thanks in advance for each opinion. |

Whilst I'm no expert on the signatures I am surprised to see that the artist who drew that "first step" illustration did not do their research. Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon with his left foot. |

Colin, those cachets were printed long before the mission, so the artist had to guess which foot would be first. And alas, he guessed wrong... |

If it is a genuinely hand-signed cover, it is a scarce Type 2 - Dow-Unicover Insurance cover, since Aldrin and Collins changed their signatures after Apollo 11 mission. |
