Does anyone have a recommendation for high quality photo development? In the past, I've bought photos for signing from Shutterfly because they use Fuji Crystal Archive paper. I don't like the label they print on the back — and wanted to take the quality "up a notch." I saw a man (I think he was a doctor from Texas) getting a lot of stuff signed at the Space Rendezvous show last November by Tom Stafford's table. He had some beautifully developed photos (great finish/gloss) and he said he had them done by a film shop in New York — but I've forgotten the name of the developer. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! |

Are you looking to have commercial quantities printed or single copies for personal use? Are you wanting a copy of a photo that you own already or are you wanting to buy a photo? Do you own the original image file or have copyright permission? The answers to these questions will help with our answers. |

Another question to consider is what size print do you want. If you just want 8x10's you can buy a decent inkjet printer (with archival ink) and professional quality paper (also archival) and print them yourself. In the end you'll save money.Hope that helps Daniel. |

AdoramaPix has never done me wrong. Quality, competitively priced and rapid service. Have printed both 8x10 and 16x20 without issue. |

Thanks for all the input. These will be 16x20 prints for personal use (not commercial or large quantity orders). |

I've been using mpix.com for years to get 16x20s and 20x20s printed. The quality, ease of use, prices, and customer service are fantastic. And your timing is excellent: until midnight tomorrow, all prints are 25% off. If you are having a number of 16x20s done, you will save quite a lot. |

Appreciate that - I'll look at them also. |
