In doing a lot of research, often using the internet, I get the impression there are a lot of Brits who are also space fanatics. Anyone know how to connect with an organized group of them?

A post by some Brits that came to Houston to drive around the temporary Manned Spacecraft Center locations piqued my interest. But I also volunteer at Space Center Houston and often hear the accent. And it seems at times there are a number of Brits posting here at collectSPACE.

The biggest organisation for us Brits covering all things spaceflight is the British Interplanetary Society here in London.

In 2014 I attended the Space Lectures' speech of Ken Mattingly at Pontefract. It really was great. There, Mattingly signed my both Apollo 16 moon covers. When Charlie Duke asked him for this favour a couple of years earlier, he denied.
