Why did they sign this so small? There was lots of space above the image? |

They surely don't! Starting with the fact that Conrad always signed 'Charles' not just as 'C.'; Gordon also as 'Richard' and not 'R.A.'; and lastly Bean's is not tight enough and does not end in a prominent 'n'. Also he did not underline as it appears he did in this example. Bad forgery all around; check some legit examples on eBay or this forum for comparison. |

I've seen at least one good "R.A. Gordon", but yes, this item looks like it has slowly-done forgeries. |

Not authentic to me either. That is why they are so small.Particularly, the Conrad and Gordon look very similar. They've probably been signed by the same hand. Indeed, the o, n and d in both signatures resemble each other. As to the Bean, I totally agree with what has already been pointed out by the other cS'ers. |
