Why did they sign this so small? There was lots of space above the image?

I'm no expert, but those autographs don't look good to me.

They surely don't! Starting with the fact that Conrad always signed 'Charles' not just as 'C.'; Gordon also as 'Richard' and not 'R.A.'; and lastly Bean's is not tight enough and does not end in a prominent 'n'. Also he did not underline as it appears he did in this example. Bad forgery all around; check some legit examples on eBay or this forum for comparison.

I've seen at least one good "R.A. Gordon", but yes, this item looks like it has slowly-done forgeries.

Not authentic to me either. That is why they are so small.

Particularly, the Conrad and Gordon look very similar. They've probably been signed by the same hand. Indeed, the o, n and d in both signatures resemble each other.

As to the Bean, I totally agree with what has already been pointed out by the other cS'ers.
