My grandmother left me a book "Robert Frost: A Tribute to the Source" with a personal note to my grandmother signed by William Anders (signed Bill Anders) Apollo 8 GE 1979. It also has the signatures of the photographers of the book.

Does anyone know how I would find out how much this is valued at?

Anders signatures are always desirable, but given that it is personalized and in a book not directly tied to NASA or Apollo 8, it's not going to fetch big bucks.

I would guesstimate a few hundred dollars. In all candor, if the signature can be cleanly cut out, a buyer may very well cut it and matte the clipped signature with a photo. So, a signature with plenty of space around it may bring more than one that could not be cleanly excised.

To give you an example, I purchased the book, "Voices from the Moon" last year signed inscribed by Bill Anders for $150. It was a bargain at that price obviously, but that will give you an idea of what a non NASA related book might run.

All times are CT (US)
