Could this be by the same hand as Steve Zarelli shows on his Armstrong study showing fakes (UK forger) or real? This seller has sold a few Armstrong's of late.

I am not good at spotting fakes...

This item rightfully has no bids (so far); hopefully it stays that way.

That example is not in the same style of the "UK forger" I have identified, but it is just as fake in my opinion.

I contacted the seller as an interested bidder and he responded that it's one of his favorite pieces and that he got it in an inheritance from his grandfather, who he said at one time was one of the greatest collectors in the world (!). He also said that his grandfather bought it from a reputable auction.

Nice story and probably true but also probable is that the "reputable" auction wasn't as reputable as it should have been.

I have seen five Armstrongs that he has put up in the last 6 plus months, two sold and two were removed plus this one and all looked off to me. He has other astronaut autographs up but again I am not able to judge.

I need to study your study more Steve or maybe I just don't have the insight on these things.
