I am curious, as I have seen a few Apollo 11 "A Kodak Paper" photos that are 11x14" sell for high amounts on eBay. Does anyone know the history of these large Kodak photos? They must be scarce because I hadn't heard of or seen them till last month and just thought to ask about them now. Thanks. |

The reasons these prints are more scarce (and thus pricier) than the more conventional 8x10's, are fairly straightforward. There were fewer of them produced to begin with (as they were intended for more "official" presentations), and their numbers have been reduced further over the years simply because their "unwieldy" size made them less likely to survive. | |
