I just ran across two identical Buzz Aldrin signatures that don't match any of the autopen examples. When I first looked at them, I thought they were signed, but, it could be a stamp. Under magnification, you can certainly see overlapping of the ink. If Chris sees this, if you want to put this on your site and need a scan of these, just email me.

It's always difficult to judge an autograph or autopen you don't see with your own eyes, but from the images you post I'd rather suspect these were rubber stamp signatures. |

From the photos these look more like rubber stamped or printed signatures. |

These are definitely rubber stamped signatures. I have four of them. When I had Buzz sign my Apollo 11 crew pic (for real!) a few years ago, he pointed to the stamped signature and said "What's wrong with that one?", to which I said "It's stamped signature. I've got three others at home just like them." I asked a few other attendees at the autograph show that weekend and one person offered that it was from a "Lois Aldrin made rubber stamp". For what it's worth. | |
