Note that auctions here: 321324938418 | 261400253595 | 261400253564 are for apparently newly-produced, unauthorized patches using (stealing) the artwork by Tim Gagnon (cS: KSCArtist).
These were never NASA designs, never in the public domain and are counterfeits.

Thanks for the heads up Robert. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but I would be flattered if pirates like this would attempt to do the right thing and at least ask my permission.

Tim, what is eBay's stance on this if you report a copyright infringement?

If Tim (or someone he authorizes to represent his interests) registers with eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program, he can report infringements and have those auctions halted.

I've seen numerous auctions from this individual selling Tim's STS-62A patches. My guess is that he has several set of unauthorized reproductions.
