When I was young, growing up in Huntsville, AL, a friend of the family's dad — a man named Edwin Riddick — gave me an Apollo 11 crew photo. (Riddick was the MSFC Protocol Officer for many years and routinely dealt directly with Von Braun and the astronauts) I folded it up and put it in a drawer, not realizing its potential significance.

I found it years later and noticed the signatures. And they are signatures — the imprints on the back are clearly visible. I have compared to the autopen signatures — they do not seem to match those. Are they secretarial or even forgeries?

Regrettably, the signatures appear to be proxy (secretary or someone else inside NASA). Sorry!

All times are CT (US)
