Opinions? I'm actually not an autograph collector at all, but after talking with Al Bean recently, I find that I really want a copy of his autograph...

Looks absolutely fine to me comparing it to my own Alan Bean autographs.
Maybe some more experienced members on here can also add there thoughts.

I don't see anything wrong with this particular piece, but if you want total peace of mind (and don't want to request an autograph directly from Alan Bean, which under the circumstances, I could understand), both the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation and Astronaut Central have Alan Bean autographed prints for sale that are beyond reproach.

I have a few Al Bean signed items and it looks ok to me, and signed in his usual blue marker!

Looks good in my opinion.

There is a forger who does a decent "Bean," but this is not his work.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I went ahead and bought it.

I looked at both. Frankly, my wife would kill me outright if I paid that much for any autograph.

I'm not an autograph collector at all. I have a few, all but one from astronauts I've met in person (which is really the only reason I'd want an autograph from any of them anyway) and a few I got from a trade I made a while back (will probably be selling those eventually).

You called it, Robert, about me not asking Al Bean directly when I talked to him, and there's no way I'd have done that. He was kind enough to call me on my book idea I'd written him about, I knew of course it would have been very bad form indeed to have asked for a signature on top of that.
