I have just found this patch on eBay. It looks like a STS-41F patch in a sealed Swissartex KSC type 'A' card header packet.

But it could also be a Swissartex STS-51D with the sew on tab missing, then sealed into the KSC packet?

Any other thoughts?

Kevin, it looks to me like an original patch with no tab ever attached. Nice find.

Those are my thoughts Jim, though I won't know for sure until I see it first hand myself.

The seller assures me the packet has never been opened or tampered with. It was found in a box of other random household items belonging to his aunt and uncle, who have recently moved from Florida to Arizona.

Nice catch. Didn't even show up on my saved searches. It doesn't look like it ended with a bid or buy it now?

It was only offered as a Buy It Now for $9.95 Liem. So I bought it first and asked the questions afterwards.

The seller had no real idea as to the possible significance and rarity of what he was selling.
