It looks as though it could have been a kindergarten writing assignment!

I'm not sure there's intent to defraud so much as intent to amuse.

Luckily zero bids so far... I probably have a bigger laugh at the first bid placed.

But seriously, can't we report that to eBay?

I've tried reporting fraudulent listings to eBay in the past. I used to be able to write a description of what I felt the error was.

Within the past few weeks, a guy keeps posting an Apollo 14 flag that clearly states it was "flown to the moon" as a surface flown flag. He was asking $29,000 for it. His latest listing raised his asking price to $34,000. He's obviously free to charge whatever he wants, but my beef with him is the flag is obviously not a surface flown flag.

I keep trying to report it, but eBay has made it so that you have very limited pull downs to choose from and none of them include the fact that the seller is trying to deceive the buyer with a deceitful description.

I'm getting rather tired of eBay. They don't police their sellers like they should. People always put things in wrong categories and there aren't enough categories to make it easy on the buyer. My biggest complaint however is the fact that there are so many eBays out there. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but why can't I get all the listings when I search for a Charlie Duke autographed photo, instead of just the US listings?

I hope someone will bring the Astro-Auction site back to life. It was well run and I could always get good honest deals.

You can do this. When you perform a search, you will be given a filter system to the left. Change the location from US Only to Worldwide. Job done - hope that helps!

All times are CT (US)
